Stops winter cold and summer heat
A thin, reflective insulation layer against the existing outer wall, finished with plasterboard. You hardly lose any living space and keep the heat out where you do not want it.
Spanish outer walls are rarely insulated
Most homes on the Spanish coast are built with single or double brick walls without insulation. In summer the wall absorbs the heat of the sun and radiates it indoors in the evening. In winter the opposite happens: the heat from your heater or air conditioning escapes through the wall.
An interior wall lining with reflective PIF insulation puts a barrier in between. The build-up stays thin, so you hardly lose any floor space, and the wall is finished the way you are used to: smooth, ready for paint.
