The key to a consistently cool home
The roof takes the full sun all day long. Reflective insulation keeps that heat out, so the upper floor stays usable and your air conditioning can take it easier.
Under an unprotected roof the temperature rises
A flat or tiled roof without insulation heats up considerably in the Spanish summer. That heat sinks into the rooms below and lingers until late in the evening. Bedrooms on the upper floor are often the least usable part of the house as a result.
Reflective PIF insulation bounces the radiation back before it reaches the roof deck. Depending on the construction, we install it on the roof, under the roof deck or against the ceiling of the attic.
The upper floor stays cool
Bedrooms under the roof become usable again in the summer months.
Most gain per square metre
The roof gets more sun than any other surface of your home.
Air conditioning runs less
Less heat coming in means less cooling needed and lower electricity costs.
